First focus on this: Is the AK-47 the first weapon of choice for insurgents and rebels? Which assault rifle would they prefer over it ? Probably something more expensive… cost does relate with function. The FN SCAR and HK-416 are some examples of this. The British SA-80, French FAMAS, Chinese QBZ-95, IWI Tavor, Steyr Aug, and M4 are all some options that a client rebel group  if it had the luxury of choice. They all have trending features of the modern times which 1960’s era AKM’s do not; lighter and tougher materials, modularity, a more evolved caliber than the WWII-era designed 7.62x39mm, and their own fundamental design differences from the Kalashnikov. There is a multi-generational gap in technology in what is called “ AK-47 ” and the assault rifles that exist today.  The  CZ 75 pistol  is one of the most legendary handguns of the 20th century. It stands tall alongside some of the most well-known and widespread handguns in the world, such as the  1911 ,  Beretta 92 , and  Glock 17 . It was one of the first “ Wonder Nines ” and helped popularize high-capacity  9mm handguns .   Maybe Switzerland even tho you can´t call it a battle rifle since we do not go into battle. This is my rifle from my compulsory military service. We keep them at home even once we#re done with military. It’s a  SIG SG 550. Why can it be considered one of the best army  rifles  ? It is precise, durable and war-ready. In addition to single fire and fully automatic, the SG550 line also has a short fire setting, which fires three shots when the trigger is pulled. Bursts of fire can be controlled relatively well; the rifle does not have a tendency to break away in any particular direction. The  magazines  are made of impact-resistant, transparent polymer plastic and are 30% lighter than magazines made of metal. The charge status is thus visible. The 20- and 30-round magazines can be linked practically without limits for quick magazine changes.
